The UAE India trade agreement: Everything you need to know

India and the UAE recently signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to double bilateral trade in goods to $100 billion over the next five years. As per the agreement, the UAE is expected to offer immediate market access at Zero duty to products accounting for 90% of India’s exports to UAE. This agreement will benefit India’s labor-intensive sectors such as Gems and Jewellery, Textiles, Leather, and Footwear, potentially creating 10 lakh new jobs.
