IndiGo’s VC arm to back early-stage startups, gain early innovation edge
12-08-2025
Pragya Priyadarshini, Managing Director, Primus Partners, shares her view on IndiGo’s strategic investment in Jeh Aerospace. She highlighted that this move positions IndiGo to influence product development, secure preferential pricing, and potentially benefit from Jeh’s export-driven growth. She further noted IndiGo’s investment of ₹1,100 crore in a new MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, expected to be operational by early 2028. With existing MRO facilities in Delhi and Bengaluru, this expansion aims to boost in-house maintenance capacity and reduce reliance on external providers.
