In collaboration with NIHFW, New Delhi and ICMR-NIN, Primus Partners organized a second consultation in Hyderabad. In collaboration with NIHFW, New Delhi, and our regional partner ICMR-NIN, Primus Partners hosted a roundtable discussion to bring together experts in the field. The aim was to explore the guidelines in depth while considering regional nuances. The roundtable was critical as we collaborated with ICMR-NIN, the institution that developed these guidelines. Through the roundtable, we discussed the implementation of these guidelines in the southern context, bringing forth cultural and socio-economic diversities in dietary palettes in India. During this deliberative discussion, experts participated in a conversation to better disseminate these guidelines in the popular media discourse. Moreover, the workshop also saw the participation of private industry players in the diet and nutrition space and explored the importance of leveraging technology and AI in the health and dietetics space.

The workshop saw attendance from experts in the field, namely - Dr Maruti Subbarao - Scientist F, ICMR-NIN; Dr R Hemalatha - Former Director, ICMR-NIN; Dr Dheeraj Shah - Director, NIHFW; Dr (Prof) V.K. Tiwari - Dean, NIHFW; Dr Monica Saini - Assistant Professor, NIHFW; Dr Madhavan Nair - Ex-scietist F, ICMR-NIN; Dr Meenakshi Bajaj - Dietician; Nikesh Kumar Jain - Consultant, Nutrition and Entrepreneurship, NSR; Dr Aman Basheer Sheikh - Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer, NatFirst, amongst other dignatries and experts in the space.
